Fedora 18 Fails At ARM Wrestling Arch, Ubuntu, Linaro

Fedora on ARM remains much slower for Google VP8 video encoding than Linaro/Ubuntu, with no significant change when compared to the stable Fedora 17 release on the PandaBoard ES.

The x264 video encoding performance was also much slower.

Fedora 18 is still behind the others... Based upon the data and the reported system information, it looks like the OMAP4 version of Fedora's kernel may have some cpufreq/CPU problems as one of the few explanations for the awkward performance.
