With the x265 video encode test, DragonFlyBSD 5.5 regressed over 5.4.3 while FreeBSD 12.0 achieved a first place finish, potentially due to greater performance being spun by Clang.

With the OpenMP-threaded GraphicsMagick benchmarks, DragonFlyBSD 5.5-DEVELOPMENT is again showing better performance than 5.4.3. FreeBSD 12.0 with its default toolchain struggled here due to FreeBSD still not using the OpenMP-enabled Clang support in base.

The DragonFlyBSD performance did regress with the heavily threaded Stockfish chess engine benchmark.

Code compilation speed on DragonFlyBSD improved with the latest development snapshot and ahead of FreeBSD 12.0 by a wider margin but came in behind the Linux distributions.
