The DCS-2330L has a 0.25-inch megapixel CMOS center and a 5-meter PIR sensor for night illumination. There's also a built-in microphone/speaker.

On the back of the camera is the mounting hole for the stand, an Ethernet port protected by a weather-proof rubber stopper, the WiFi WPS setup button, and the DC power cable. Unlike the DCS-932L, the DCS-2330L is hard-wired to the external DC power supply. Unfortunately this might be a bit of an issue if you were just hoping to drill a small hole in an exterior wall for running the power feed for this network camera... The DCS-2330L was likely hard-wired rather than having a DC power connector for this water-proof requirements, but it will just make the installation potentially more difficult for some applications. At the bottom of the camera is the micro-SD port for having local storage capabilities, if you're not sending them off via email, FTP.

To the front of the camera is the lens along with the IR LED.

The network camera's stand is very flexible and allows a variety of positions while it can be mounted via screws to most any interior/exterior surface.
