The Python and PHP performance also saw the fastest results on Ubuntu 20.04 for this Intel Core i9 10980XE system.

When it came to first place finishes, Ubuntu 20.04 in its near-final state was out-of-the-box winning about half of the tests. Coming in second place was the FreeBSD-based GhostBSD.

If taking the geometric mean of all the tests that ran successfully on all tested configurations, Ubuntu 20.04 did exhibit the strongest performance on this Intel Core i9 10980XE system followed by GhostBSD and FreeBSD 12.1 while DragonFlyBSD 5.8 came in behind them.
