The same story as the other John The Ripper tests goes for Blowfish.

Our next test profile used dcraw to measure the time to convert several RAW image files to PPM. Debian GNU/kFreeBSD was noticeably slower in both 32-bit and 64-bit tests.

The 32-bit performance between GNU/Linux and GNU/kFreeBSD was close, but the 64-bit Linux environment again reigned supreme.

With Sudokut, a Sudoku solving puzzle benchmark, the Debian GNU/Linux x86_64 version again shined while the 32-bit results were indifferent.
