Like CrossOver Office, there is an install "unsupported software" / "other game" option for installing other Windows games/applications manually.

To look at the performance of CrossOver Games, we had done some quick benchmarks this morning between Microsoft Windows Vista Home Basic, Ubuntu 8.04 Beta with WINE 0.9.58, and Ubuntu 8.04 Beta with today's CrossOver Games demo. These benchmarks are just intended to give a quick look at the performance capabilities of CrossOver Games and nothing more. A more thorough performance review may be published later.

All of the benchmarks were done with a Lenovo ThinkPad T61 (which will be featured in several upcoming articles) with an Intel Core 2 Duo T9300 "Penryn" processor, 2GB of DDR2 RAM, 120GB hard drive, and NVIDIA Quadro NVS 140M 128MB graphics card. The benchmark used for these initial tests was 3DMark01 Second Edition, which has worked with WINE for quite some time. In another article, we have gaming benchmarks from 11 versions of WINE.
