First up with Counter-Strike: Global Offensive on this i7-7700K Linux box, switching to P-State performance had led to a few more frames over Ubuntu's default powersave configuration for this desktop CPU. But with the default configuration already yielding 280 FPS average, it's likely to go unnoticed unless on a slower CPU. Using CPUFreq ondemand had led to a drop in performance while CPUFreq performance was performing similarly to P-State performance. When in CPUFreq powersave mode and conservative, the performance nose-dived.

The Deus Ex: Mankind Divided performance didn't see any real change at all with the exception of the CPUFreq powersave state.

Dota 2 with the OpenGL renderer saw roughly the same performance except for the CPUFreq powersave mode reducing the gaming performance sharply.

The performance-per-Watt results are tending to be in line with expectations.
