The game modes include lobby, editing, death-match, secure the flag, and capture the flag. The mutators in Blood Frontier Beta 1 RC1 were multi-sided, team play, instagib, duel, last man standing, and paintball.

Among the available graphics detail options were for shaders, water reflection/refraction, shadow quality, grass quality, dynamic lighting, soft particles, water/lava vertex animation, glass reflection, decals, texture quality, and model quality.
