ASRock Z97 Extreme6

The Z97 motherboards were offering roughly the same SATA 3 SSD performance, but unfortunately I have no Ultra H.2 SSDs on hand for testing the peak disk performance potential of the Z97 Extreme6.

Interestingly, the graphics performance of the Z97 Extreme6 was doing much better than the Gigabyte Z97-HD3 while the BIOSes were using the optimized defaults and the same hardware components were used between hardware runs.

In select computational benchmarks, the ASRock Z97 Extreme6 was running better than the Gigabyte Z97-HD3 and ECS Z87H3-A2X EXTREME motherboards.
