Examination:

The P67 Pro3 is only one of many ASRock motherboards that are designed for Intel's new Socket 1155 Sandy Bridge CPUs. ASRock offers many different models based upon the H61, H67, and P67 chipsets. ASRock even offers the P67 Transformer, which is a P67 motherboard but bears an 1156 Socket for use with older, non-SNB Intel Core i3/i5/i7 CPUs. The ASRock P67 Pro3 has four DDR3 system memory slots, one PCI Express 2.0 x16 slot, three PCI Express x1 slots, plenty of USB 3.0 connections, and six Serial ATA (2 x SATA 2.0, 3 x SATA 3.0) ports.

This ASRock motherboard supports DDR3-2133 and DDR3-1866 memory when operating in its overclocked mode, otherwise it is just the normal DDR3-1600/1333/1066MHz memory support. Next to the DDR3 memory slots on one side is the 1155 CPU Socket and on the opposite side is the 24-pin ATX power connector.

Covering the Intel P67 Chipset is a small aluminum heatsink that is secured to the motherboard via pushpins in opposing corners. This motherboard has four Serial ATA 2.0 and two Serial ATA 3.0 ports. The SATA connectors support RAID 0/1/5/10. Also in this area of the motherboard are three USB 3.0 headers. Other nice features include integrated power and reset buttons onto the PCB itself (a growing trend among motherboard vendors) as well as a port-80 LED display for indicating the POST code.
