AMDVLK Still Has Some Performance Advantages Over Mesa's Radeon RADV Vulkan Driver, But It's A Good Fight
DiRT Rally 2.0 is running on Linux under Steam Play with DXVK. With high quality settings at 1440p the two Vulkan drivers performed about the same but at ultra quality settings, AMDVLK seemed to run into an issue with the Vega 20: the performance wasn't much better than the RX Vega 64 and the RADV Vulkan driver performed noticeably better.
With Valve's Dota 2 game, the Mesa RADV driver was faster than AMDVLK. This isn't too surprising considering Valve's Linux graphics developers are actively contributing to the upstream Mesa drivers, RADV included.
