While BioShock Infinite was faster with Mesa 17.1 over AMDGPU-PRO, with Mesa 17.2/17.3-devel it's even much faster. For 17.2 was the enabling of Mesa glthread and other optimizations that greatly help out BioShock Infinite.

The Civilization VI performance is also much better with the newer Mesa code thanks to glthread and other RadeonSI optimizations.

The frame times with Civilization VI are dramatically lower on Mesa Git compared to AMDGPU-PRO.

With AMDGPU-PRO 17.30 I haven't found much in the way of changed performance over 17.10, but under the hood it's likely packing Vega support and other improvements. Great to see RadeonSI continuing to outperform this proprietary AMD OpenGL component.
