Nexuiz at 1280 x 1024 was also beneficial to the Radeon HD 4670 graphics card, unlike the tests at 1920 x 1080 where the HD 4670 did not benefit from the increased transfer rates.

When running at only 800 x 600, this was the point at which the additional bandwidth of PCI Express 2.0 was no longer beneficial to the Radeon HD 4670 (or any other card).

If you wish to try out the PCI-E 2.0 support with the Radeon DRM driver, boot the system with "radeon.pcie_gen2=1" if using a kernel from the past year. Hopefully in a future release, they will come up with a better strategy to enabling the PCI Express 2.0 support by default for Radeon, which as these results show, can greatly increase the OpenGL performance.
