The NVIDIA GeForce 400 series graphics also only had a small advantage over Llano with the Lightsmark benchmark.

Turning to the computational tests where we have results for all six systems running Ubuntu 11.04, the Intel Core i3 330M is slightly faster than the AMD A8-3500M APU with the multi-threaded C-Ray ray-tracing benchmark. The Intel Core i3 370M is obviously a bit faster than that, and the Intel Core i5 2520M "Sandy Bridge" is the best performer. The Intel Core i5 2520M takes nearly 40% less time to complete this ray-tracing benchmark as does the A8-3500M Llano.

The Smallpt results are not too different from C-Ray where the time to completion for the Intel Core i5 2520M is around 40% less than the AMD A8-3500M APU. The Intel Core i3 330M is quite a close performer to the A8-3500M in these similar workloads.
