AMD Athlon 200GE: Benchmarking The $60 Zen+Vega Chip
In a few workloads like Stockfish where the CPU clock speed matters the most, the Athlon X4 950 and A10-7870K were able to come out slightly ahead due to their higher frequencies.
Meanwhile tests like AOBench show the Athlon 200GE's much greater performance-per-clock.
The Athlon 200GE could compile the default Linux x86_64 kernel from source in about six and a half minutes.
In single-threaded tests like FLAC audio encoding, the Athlon 200GE wasn't that far behind the original Ryzen 3 processors.
The R performance was also interesting for this CPU considering its $60 price and 35 Watt TDP.
