Coming out four months after Dapper Drake was Edgy Eft. New in Ubuntu's Edgy Eft was the integration of Tomboy and F-Spot, faster startup and shutdown, and much more. Shipping with Edgy Eft was GNOME 2.16, Linux 2.6.17, and X.Org 7.1. In the time from Dapper Drake to Edgy Eft, the artwork colors were a lot brighter and much more aesthetically pleasing.
