Examination:

The SilverStone Sugo Evolution was released as a revision to the original SG01 design. The Evolution design delivered a new fan bracket to accommodate larger fans, enlarged vents, ability to fit larger PSUs and optical drives, and many more minor alterations went into this revision. Unfortunately, the Sugo SG02 design was canned and not until CES 2007 had SilverStone showed off the SG03, which will be officially launched this week at CeBit. The SG01W is the same as the Sugo Evolution, but it adds a clear acrylic window to both the left and right sides of the chassis. This is SilverStone's first attempt at a SFF case the size of the Sugo with any windows. On the front of the chassis there are the dual 5.25" optical drive bays, four USB 2.0 ports, one IEEE-1394 Firewire, two audio ports, and the standard front panel buttons with LEDs. The exterior of the Sugo remains a finely brushed aluminum finish, which we absolutely love. With the SG01 series, no door conceals either of the 5.25" drive bays.

Quickly moving onto the sides of the chassis, there are no fan mounts on the acrylic windows, but there are two very large air vents on each of the windows. On the top of the SG01W are also two air vents that align with the internal fan bracket.
