Examination:

The OCZ 8GB Mega-Kart flash drive was roughly the size of a credit card, and not nearly as compact as their Rally flash product. The Mega-Kart is able to fit into a wallet, but it certainly takes away from being a thumb drive. However, even with the increased capacity of the CMFUSB2.0-8GB, the 8GB Flash Voyager is still able to retain to its legendary size. In fact the flash drive looks exactly like all of the other Flash Voyager models from the outside. The USB 2.0 cap has Corsair's logo, while on the body of the flash drive is the Flash Voyager moniker and on the opposite side is Corsair's web address. The entire flash drive is rubber, which allows it to be waterproof. This is not marketing hype, as with all of the Flash Voyagers we have used we have tested this claim with success.

Also on the Flash Voyager is an eyehole so the Corsair lanyard can be attached. Near the eyehole is an LED for indicating the drive status. As having used Corsair Flash Voyager products for nearly two years now, we have found the build quality to be fantastic. The only area that has showed signs of wear and tear has been the rubber characters on the exterior beginning to wear down. Found inside of the Corsair Flash Voyager 8GB is a Feiya Technology Corporation Memory Bar.
