BIOS:

Loading up the 939NF4G-SATA2 BIOS, ASRock continues to employ an American Megatrends (AMI) v02.58 template. As has been the case with past ASRock motherboards, the BIOS options remain very lackluster especially for computer enthusiasts. The pages include main, advanced, hardware monitor, boot, security, and exit. Under the advanced area, is the CPU, Chipset, ACPI, IDE, PCIPnP, floppy, Super I/O, and USB configuration pages. The CPU area supports overclocking the processor and PCI Express frequencies as well as toggling Cool 'n' Quiet and manipulating the CPU multiplier and voltage. Unlike the CPU voltage area that now lists the available voltages, the DRAM voltage continues to be displayed as auto, ultra high, high, normal, and low. Displayed on the hardware monitor page is the CPU and motherboard temperatures as well as the CPU and chassis fan speeds, and finally the Vcore, +3.30V, +5.00V, and +12.00V values.
