Danger Den

Danger Den has long been considered one of the performance leaders in the water-cooling arena. Their waterblocks, such as the TDX and RBX, are consistently amongst the top performing blocks on the market, and we have even chosen some of their waterblocks for use on our testbeds. These GPU, CPU, RAM, HDD, and Chipset waterblocks can be found from their online store, which is accessible from the Danger Den banner above. Waterblocks are not the only products Danger Den specializes in selling as they also maintain a selection of other high quality kits, pumps, reservoirs, tubing, water additives, TEC/peltiers, other miscellaneous hardware, and finally – radiators. The talented works at Danger Den, which is based out of Oregon, have just about everything you would ever need for water cooling while offering their various products at incredibly competitive prices. For those of you living outside of the United States, Danger Den also provides international shipping.

· Copper / brass
· Use with 3/8" ID or 1/2" ID Hose
· Unique Optional acrylic fan shroud with 3/4" offset from radiator
· Radiator can run 2 x 120mm fans in push/pull config or one side of shroud can be used for mounting
· Overall dimensions H x W x D =11" x 6 1/8" x 2"

Of the three products Danger Den has kindly provided for this round-up, the first product we will be discussing is the Dual Heater Core that, unlike the Black Ice Xtreme series, is crafted by the folks at Danger Den. In addition to the Dual Heater Core, also available is a standard Heater Core that only provides room for a single 120mm fan setup. The Heater Core series from Danger Den features copper and brass construction with 3/8” or 1/2” ID (Internal Diameter) hose support while the shroud is sold separately to mount up to 2 x 120mm fans in a push/pull configuration The overall dimensions of the Dual Heater Core are 11” x 6-1/8” x 2”. As you can see from the pictures, the build quality for this popular radiator is quite impressive and it should be able to effectively radiate a fair amount of heat, but only our tests will show its true viability. At this time, the Danger Den store is currently selling the Dual Heater Core for $34.99 USD compared against its $42.00 MSRP. Keep in mind, the shroud is sold separately for a price of $15.95.
