Next stop on our trip today was Thermaltake. Now this was one hell of an exhibition. Like always, Thermaltake has released a massive amount of new, innovative products. First thing that caught our eyes was Thermaltake’s newest case, the Tai-Chi. We must say this is one very unique case. It ships with a water cooling solution pre-installed. The radiator and pump are built into the case door and the reservoir is fitted into two 5.25” drive bays. The rest of the case looks like a massive heatsink and features extruded aluminum sides. Overall this is one very nice looking case and we personally will be eagerly awaiting its release and review here at Phoronix. Next Thermaltake has released a new HTPC case called Bach (notice the naming still goes along the line of musical terms and names). It is an all aluminum case and has a sound meter bar built in. Sitting on top of the case is actually a water-cooling unit built specifically for HTPC’s. This not only keeps your HTPC cool, but also does so quietly. Now if you’re wondering where the radiator is, we were wondering the same thing. However, take a look at the picture that looks like a tall speaker. That’s actually the radiator disguised as a speaker. This helps the system blend into the whole home theater look. Thermaltake has also released a very interesting cooler named Tide Water. This water cooling unit specifically cools the graphics card and is an all-in-one unit that fits in a PCI slot. Now if you’re familiar with Thermaltake’s new division, Thermalrock, you’re probably familiar with the Circle or Eclipse cases that have DVDs or CDs stuck in the front for decoration purposes. On their Eclipse DV case however, the CD/DVD in front is actually a functional, built-in DVD drive! Now we’re not sure about the looks of it, but it’s sure cool and a lot better than having useless CDs or DVDs sitting in the front of your case. They’ve also released the Tribe water cooling unit, which is essentially the same as their Aquarius III unit, but with improved ventilation etc... Looks pretty good too. In addition, they have a variety of new water cooling accessories. The Muse USB Enclosures are another addition to the Thermaltake product line.
