It's been one month since the last Wine development release, but Wine 1.7.52 was just tagged and made available today.

There wasn't a Wine release two weeks ago due to WineConf in Vienna. It was at WineConf that they decided to switch to yearly, time-based releases and that the first will be Wine 1.8, which they're working towards this autumn.

Today's Wine 1.7.52 release updates Unicode to their big v8.0 release, implements more of the Web Services DLL, adds more Direct3D 11 interfaces, more functions in the C++ runtime, PostScript driver improvements, and various bug fixes. There are 99 known bug fixes in this release, which is much more than usual due to the greater length of time since the previous release.
