Wine 1.7.49 Has DirectWrite Improvements For Steam, More OpenMP
The newest bi-weekly development release of Wine is now available.
Wine 1.7.49 implements more of DirectWrite that it can now successfully render text in Steam, there are more Direct2D improvements, more OpenMP functions implemented, support for namespaces in the IDL compiler, and a total of 31 known bug-fixes.
Two years after Wine 1.6, there's no signs yet of turning Wine 1.7 into Wine 1.8 stable.
