Wine 1.7.46: Still Hacking On DirectWrite & 64-bit ARM
Wine 1.7.46 is out bright and early this morning.
Wine 1.7.46 brings the following highlights:
In total there are 67 known bug-fixes with this release. DirectWrite is Microsoft's text layout and glyph rendering API that succeeded GDI/GDI+ with Windows 7. DirectWrite has been one of the big items being worked on by Wine developers but it isn't squared away quite yet. Meanwhile, this release doesn't bring any new Direct3D 11 support improvements, but we know CodeWeavers is going to be tackling D3D11 along with performance improvements in the months ahead.
