Meizu Launches The Ubuntu MX4 In China

Ubuntu enthusiasts in Europe have been able to buy the first Ubuntu phone for some time now, the BQ Aquaris, while starting now Chinese developers are able to buy the second official Ubuntu phone: the Meizu Ubuntu MX4.

The Ubuntu MX4 is expected to become available in Europe soon while the first market this phone is being offered to is China.

Canonical posted today, "Meizu has announced that the Ubuntu MX4, which will be sold across Europe soon, is immediately available to developers in China. The move kicks off Meizu’s push towards strengthening the Ubuntu ecosystem in China, ahead of launching the Chinese Edition to its user base later this year."
