Mandriva 2011 Alpha 2 Released
For those Mandriva users that haven't dissented to Mageia Linux, the second alpha release of Mandriva 2011 is now available for testing.
This is coming shortly after the first alpha of Mandriva 2011 (along with Mageia). This second alpha simplifies the initial setup process, updates against the Linux 2.6.37.2 kernel, pulls in the latest NetworkManager Mandriva plug-in, switches from SCIM to IBUS for input, features better systemd integration, and contains lots of other updated packages.
The Mandriva 2011 Alpha 2 announcement was made on the Mandriva blog.
