A week ago we shared that the first of the slides and videos from VMware's recent Gallium3D workshop were now posted on the Internet. This morning some more of this content is being published, which covers the VMware SVGA driver status, a Gallium3D state tracker overview, and the status of the OpenGL ES state tracker. The content from the previous video/slides push along with today's uploads can be found here. Unfortunately we have found out that some of the videos from the Gallium3D workshop have been lost.

Additionally, Jens Owens of LunarG, formerly the founder of Tungsten Graphics, would like to know what kind of material or topics of documentation the open-source graphics development community wants or needs the most. If you are a current open-source graphics driver developer or are a developer that's been aspiring to work on Linux graphics drivers but your efforts have been hampered by the lack of documentation or other details to get you started, let us know in the forums (or if you prefer, contact LunarG). Detailed documentation covering the Linux X/graphics stack has historically lacked, but hopefully this can change.
