GNOME 2.20.1 Due Out Today
Last month GNOME 2.20.0 was released and today is scheduled to be the release of GNOME 2.20.1, which is the first maintenance in the GNOME 2.20 series. Among the packages that were checked-in for today's release include new versions of Evolution, GtkHTML, GNOME Games, GLib, gThumb, Evince, gtk-engines, GDM2, Eye of GNOME, Dasher, gnome-control-center, Deskbar-Applet, and Hotwire are just a few of them. The source tarballs for the GNOME 2.20.1 packages are already available while the official release announcement should be out shortly. The next maintenance release, GNOME 2.20.2, is due out at the end of November. Meanwhile, the development cycle towards GNOME 2.22 heats up later this month with the release of GNOME 2.21.1.
