We told you earlier this week that Ryan Gordon would be working on the Linux UT3 port. Well, early this morning he released the Unreal Tournament 3 Linux server in its beta form. This is the dedicated server and not the client. Ryan said in the server announcement that the Linux or Mac OS X clients aren't ready yet. We imagine though the UT3 Linux client beta will be available soon. With the release of Enemy Territory: Quake Wars for Linux also imminent, it's going to be one exciting fall for Linux gaming enthusiasts.
