NVIDIA 346.72 Linux Driver Brings Few Fixes
NVIDIA announced the release yesterday of the 346.72 driver, which is their latest binary Linux update in the long-lived 346 branch.
The NVIDIA 346.72 driver brings support for a new "GeForce GPU" and has three fixes. The fixes are for losing stereo sync with certain Quadro Sync frame-lock configurations, a fix for pixel buffer operations, and a fix for a rare deadlock condition on Quadro GPUs.
More details on this latest Linux graphics driver update (that's also available for FreeBSD and Solaris) via NVIDIA's DevTalk page. Meanwhile, NVIDIA's next Linux driver series should soon be going into beta.
