NVIDIA 346.59 Linux Driver Brings Support For New GPUs

If you're not on the NVIDIA 349 Linux beta but rather an older version of NVIDIA's binary Linux driver, today they released the 346.59 bug-fix release as the latest in their long-lived series.

The NVIDIA 346.59 driver fixes a bug that yielded corruption when switching display modes in applications using transform feedback, a texture corruption bug, a pixel clock issue on SLI Mosaic systems, a kernel memory leak when using VDPAU on Maxwell, and a bug that caused nvidia-settings to crash on Linux 32-bit systems.

The new Maxwell-based GPUs officially supported by the 346.59 stable update for Linux/Solaris/FreeBSD include the Quadro K1200, Quadro M6000, GeForce 920M, GeForce 930A, GeForce 930M, GeForce 940M, GeForce GTX 950M, GeForce GTX 960M, and GeForce GTX TITAN X.

This new stable Linux graphics driver update can be downloaded from NVIDIA.com.
