GCC 4.9.2 Released Today To Fix Regressions
GCC 4.9.2 was released today as the latest point release in the GCC 4.9 series for the compiler originally released earlier this year.
While GCC 5 has a ton of new features coming for it across the board, it's not going to be released until some point in 2015. For those wanting a proven and stable compiler today, GCC 4.9.2 is out and it incorporates just regression/bug fixes over the earlier GCC 4.9.x releases.
The GCC 4.9.2 compiler point release can be downloaded at GNU.org.
