Today AGEIA has announced the launch of the world's first dedicated physics processor. Among the many manufacturers that will begin to utility these PPUs (Physics Processing Units) are Dell, Alienware, and Falcon Northwest. As we had mentioned this past September AGEIA PhysX support will soon be available under Linux. More information on the AGEIA PhysX processor launch can be found here.
