Just a few reminders should you be partaking in any "Black Friday" online shopping today or holiday shopping in general.

First of all, be sure to check out our 2013 Holiday Shopping Guide For Linux PC Hardware if you haven't already for some guidance on Linux-friendly computer hardware catered towards this holiday season and the latest Linux distribution releases.

Secondly, if any of your shopping adventures for the holiday (or any time) bring you to Amazon, be sure to use our Amazon.com affiliate shopping link. By click this link (also on the right side of the home page) whenever making a purchase it goes to support Phoronix.

If you'd like to get something for yourself this holiday that's very affordable, consider a subscription to Phoronix Premium. Premium members get ad-free browsing, viewing multi-page articles on a single page, notices of upcoming articles, your feedback is more highly evaluated, a private section to the forums, and it goes a long way to supporting the site! We recently made some log-in improvements and other enhancements for our premium readers.

As I mentioned a few days ago, I'm looking at getting one or two laptops this weekend for use in future Linux articles on Phoronix. If you have any requests about these laptops, check out that article and join the dozens of others that have already provided their feedback.

Lastly, if you would like to be generous this holiday season and do a lot to help out Phoronix and in our mission of enriching the Linux hardware experiencing and continuing to advance open-source benchmark, please consider making a PayPal donation.

Thanks a lot for reading! Regardless of Thanksgiving yesterday there still were plenty of articles on Phoronix worth reading and they will continue today and every other day of the year. Future article requests can be sent to the forums and @MichaelLarabel.
