PC-BSD 10.0 Likely Being Released Next Week
To follow in the foot steps of this week's FreeBSD 10.0 release, PC-BSD 10.0 is likely to be released next week but for now they have out PC-BSD 10.0 RC5.
The PC-BSD crew put out their 10.0-RC5 release today that is based upon FreeBSD 10.0-RC5 and they anticipate this will be their last test release before PC-BSD 10.0-FINAL in "a week or so."
Besides pulling in all of the FreeBSD 10.0 features like the AMD Radeon KMS driver, ZFS file-system improvements, new packages. and much more, other PC-BSD 10.0 changes include now distributing their ISO as a hybrid file for USB media support, a new text-based installer, a UEFI loader is bundled on the installation media, GNOME 3 / MATE / Cinnamon are new desktop choices, and other modifications to their desktop-friendly FreeBSD environment.
