The KDE Software Compilation 4.12 release schedule has now been finalized with a plan to put out the KDE 4.12 release on the 18th of December.

The published KDE SC 4.12 release schedule puts the feature/API/message freeze on the 30th of October, the first beta on 6 November, the first release candidate on 27 November, and the final KDE SC 4.12 release on 18 December.

The release schedule for KDE 4.12 can be found via the KDE.org Techbase.

KDE 4.12 should be another good KDE4 update though much of the new development focus for major innovations is now centered around KDE Frameworks 5, which should see its debut in 2014.
