Calxeda ARM Multi-Core Scaling Linux Performance
After delivering some AMD Vishera multi-core scaling benchmarks for reference on Saturday, here's some similar tests conducted from a Calxeda ECX-1000 quad-core ARM server node.
Testing of the Calxeda 1.1GHz ARM Cortex-A9 quad-core was done with one, two, three, and four cores exposed to the Phoronix Test Suite. These benchmark results can be found on OpenBenchmarking.org in 1210273-RA-CALXEDACO05. Benchmarking the quad-core ARMv7 server happened from Ubuntu 12.10 with a variety of open-source multi-threaded benchmarks.
Other recent ARM Linux server benchmarks on Phoronix from Calxeda hardware include the Boston Viridis benchmarks, ARM GCC compiler testing, a comparison to the TI OMAP4460 and Intel Atom, and other results from this 5-Watt Ubuntu server. There's also some other Calxeda Linux benchmarks still to be published.
