GCC Update Brings More Than 100 Bug-Fixes
The GNU Compiler Collection 4.7.1 release is available as of this morning.
As said in Richard Guenther's GCC 4.7.1 release announcement, "GCC 4.7.1 is the first bug-fix release containing important fixes for regressions and serious bugs in GCC 4.7.0 with over 100 bugs fixed since the previous release."
GCC 4.7.1 is available from the FTP mirrors.
For those not yet on the GCC 4.7 series, it's definitely worth the upgrade. As many benchmarks have shown performance improvements on GCC 4.7 against GCC 4.6 and earlier releases, plus there's many other new features. GCC 4.7.0 was released three months ago.
