The Linux 3.6-rc6 kernel was released over the weekend while the final release is expected to land soon.

The Linux 3.6 kernel is approaching while this sixth release candidate lands many more fixes now that many of the developers are back from holidays and travels surrounding the Linux Plumbers Conference, LinuxCon, etc.
