More Intel DRM Graphics Driver Changes Line Up For Linux 4.7
For the Intel DRM driver in Linux 4.7 there's already been additions like the Intel color manager and other enhancements. With today's pull request is more feature work.
This latest round of drm-intel-next material has made the mode-set hardware state checker atomic-aware, closes some race conditions, a lot of improvements to the GEM memory management code, GuC firmware loading fixes, Valley View and Cherryview changes, reworked DisplayPort detection, the color manager is now fully atomic, and various other changes. If many of these changes sound familiar, it's the material that's been available for testing the past few weeks.
