LLVM Drops Its Autoconf Build System
As of today in the latest LLVM development code it removes the Autoconf build system for LLVM and Clang.
Removing Autoconf support was proposed earlier this month with their CMake build support covering everything handled by Autoconf. There had been talk before of dropping Autoconf in favor of having CMake as LLVM's lone build system while today that goal was finally realized.
With LLVM 3.8 already having been branched, this CMake-only support goes into effect with LLVM 3.9 due out later in the year.
