Hans Wennborg has announced the second release candidate for the upcoming LLVM 3.7 release.

LLVM 3.7 has new compiler functionality for both classic use-cases as well as for the AMDGPU back-end it's needed for exposing OpenGL 4.1 in conjunction with the latest Mesa Git code.

There continues to be daily LLVM Clang compiler benchmarks done at LinuxBenchmarking.com while I'll have some fresh Phoronix tests up as the LLVM/Clang 3.7.0 release approaches later this month.

Wennborg's brief 3.7-RC2 release announcement can be found via the new LLVM mailing list server.
