Cinnamon 3.0 Officially Announced

Following the early look yesterday at Cinnamon 3.0 when tagged in Git, the Linux Mint crew today officially announced the Cinnamon 3.0 desktop release.

Clement Lefebvre talked about some of the Cinnamon 3.0 features as being multiple window management improvements, improved out-of-the-box touchpad support, new accessibility and sound settings, renaming of battery powered devices, animation effects being enabled by default, improved support for GTK+ 3.20, and more.
