A good year. 2009 should be more interesting though with KDE 4.2 & 4.3, KMS/DRI2/Gallium3D/etc. developments.

Queue the usual annual "200X, the year of linux" articles. I wonder if the journalists are just cut and pasting previous versions of that article at this point.
