Are you kidding me? It's 30% except a few games. Try playing Serious Sam 3 or Painkiller Hell and Damnation.

SS3 should benefit from 3.12 changes to ondemand governor.

Can You recheck FPS with it?

          xorg.conf needed?

          for me its
          cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log | grep -i tilingonf-3.12.0-3-desktop
[ 7.790] (II) RADEON(0): KMS Color Tiling: enabled
          [ 7.790] (II) RADEON(0): KMS Color Tiling 2D: enabled

even without having a xorg.conf - so it already seems to be enabled by default at least since today and for my HD 7950 - nice!

I'm not talking about the OSS driver. I specifically said catalyst.

I'm already using 3.12 of course.

And I was speaking about Catalyst too. Catalyst on linux sucks.

Performance wise it isnt -that- bad. Like I said 85-95 percent. Stability wise it is horrible.

No it isn't. These games are just unplayable in linux while they are just perfect in Windows. Nvidia drivers are much, much more optimized. Painkiller doesn't even start with Catalyst while it works with radeon
