  • How to get tvout working?

Ive followed the command at http://wiki.x.org/wiki/radeonTV but it still doesnt seem to work. Im using ubuntu 8.04 on a X800 AGP card, with a 20" LCD connected to DVI and svideo connected to a CRT TV.

xrandr seems to detect the tv, but how can I enable it? Im guessing the 0mmx0mm aint good.. :-)

    Any ideas or help? Thanks

I don't think anyone has gotten tv-out working yet on R4xx cards like the X800. I think the gpio setup for the tv-dac toggling changed and no one has sorted it out yet.

Ohh, I see, thanks for the quick response.

Any way I can help with testing or dumps or anything?

Had my hopes high when I saw posted on the ubuntu forums that the opensource radeon drivers had tvout (i guess its been announced for a while, I guess I havent kept up).

      Ahh well...
