  • Bug: results-file-to-pdf doesn't work in 1.8.0 [FIXED]

    Distribution: Fedora 10
    Test-Suite: PTS 1.8.0 from Fedora-Update repo

Dhe documentation mentions a command "result-file-to-pdf" but this seems not to be implemented in PTS 1.8.0

    Regards
    Rainer

Rainer, it should be fully implemented. Well, I think you are using results-file-to-pdf when it should be result-file-to-pdf (without the S). Just supply as an argument the name of the test profile. You will also need the PHP FPDF module installed.

      Was just a typo.

Nevertheless: The first attempt told me to install php fpdf. This is not packaged for Fedora 10 so I had to download it and install it by hand. After that it worked, but the output is rather poor because it is missing the graphics. So I'm afraid some PHP code is still missing, but I don't know which.

      Regards
      Rainer

Can you email the PDF to [email protected]? I am not aware of any outstanding bugs with it.

You need PHP GD installed for the graphing support from the result-file-to-pdf option.

ACK! After installing it works. So the question is: Why is php-gd not in the RPM dependencies of the fedora package?

Good question. Report the bug upstream to Fedora if using their package.

                  Hi Michael,

my student is still testing and writing a table on what works or not.

I'm actually totally involved in work and the KVM test day of Fedora, so I can't work on the PTS at the moment.

                  Regards
                  Rainer
