                It prevents us from doing what exactly? Concidering the sales at under $5 USD on Steam and the fact I can redownload my games whenever and wherever i like?

                I've never paid launch price for any game outside of a handful of sequels that I know are going to be great, like the Metal Gear Solid series.

                  No use for this shit on my Ubuntu box. It goes way easier with just a repository and an apt:// url.

                  The same system can be implemented on Mac and Windows with ease.

                  I really don't know why the Ubuntu Software Centre itself isn't a webstore with local cache (webapp).
