    Published on Phoronix yesterday was a 21-way Linux GPU comparison using the open-source Intel / AMD / Nouveau graphics drivers. That article was followed by a fresh look at the Intel Windows vs. Linux performance. To get started on another day of Linux benchmarking to help users find the right PC hardware this holiday season, here's OpenCL compute benchmarks from nine different NVIDIA GeForce graphics cards while running Ubuntu Linux.

        Shouldn't Titan supposed to be faster in GPGPU?

          Maybe these test didn't benefit from the high Double-Precision performance.

            All the benchmarks are single precision. Also if there was a double precision benchmark, the titan has to be put into DP mode via the control panel first to get maximum performance.

              From the specs the 780 Ti is a beefed-up Titan (with artificially crippled FP64 performance, you can't have everything, lol), so nothing surprising here imho. http://www.anandtech.com/show/7492/

                Only in CUDA. Doesn't make much sense to buy an NVIDIA GPU if you are going to run OpenCL anyway.

                  well... the intel ones don't have enough Opencl performance and the AMD ones only works better with simple kernels...

                    Gotta disagree there. Still plenty of issues with AMD's CL support (something that even AMD admits).
