AMD Radeon HD 8750M Discrete

Greetings:

I have thought about purchasing a HP ENVY Laptop 15z-j100, I use ArchLinux. I'm seeing that this laptop includes a 2GB AMD Radeon ? HD 8750M Discrete graphics card, and an AMD Quad-Core A10-5750m processor. My question is should you run ArchLinux well with this hardware?

I'm not a big fan of systems with APU plus "same size" GPU with Linux, which is AFAIK what you have here. That configuration is really aimed at running Crossfire for games, which in turn is mostly a Windows thing.

APU only, or APU plus Big Honkin' GPU would both be better choices IMO.
